ABOUT HAYLEY

I am an artist living in Cincinnati, Ohio with my cats, Kevin & Juniper, my sweet partner, Daniel, and a whole lot of paint brushes.

I am a professionally taught oil-painter, watercolor artist, and “spit-shader”—the tattoo-style artwork you see here. I am also a self-taught stained glass artist, and am working on many pieces. Recently, I have progressed through a tattoo apprenticeship, and am currently booking appointments to put my art on you forever!

I have been an artist since grade school, in fact, when I was in high school, my art teacher created special art classes for me once I finished the curriculum. I am lucky to have had such an important person that made a huge impact on the artist I am today.

PHILOSOPHY

I am interested in creating various styles of art connected to nature in some way — I think that helps keep me curious and invested in it. I am learning something new, a new technique or style that I can practice, every time I pick up a tool. Creating pieces that convey nature in the way that I feel it and connect to it are important to me — this is why it is a common theme in my artwork, regardless of style or medium.

Part of the experience that I enjoy so much is the adventure to the painting. Daniel and I get to explore new places together and it allows me to channel more creativity into my paintings.
